How Nd:YAG 1064 nm Laser Works
The Nd:YAG 1064 nm wavelength penetrates deeply to target pigmented organisms and inflamed tissue while sparing surrounding structures. With Aerolase® and Cutera® Genesis platforms, energy is delivered in short pulses to help reduce heat buildup, making treatments comfortable and well tolerated for most patients.
What to Expect
- Quick visits: Most sessions take 10–30 minutes depending on the condition and area treated.
- Minimal downtime: Patients typically resume normal activity immediately.
- Series of treatments: A treatment plan may include multiple sessions for best results.
